December 12th This trip to Seattle, Washington was my first time to book travel (hotel and airafre) using Expedia.com. Not only was it an easy experience, I also learned that Expedia offers activities to enhance your visit. I booked myself a Seattle City Tour and I'm going to have dinner at the top of the Space Needle. What a trip!

I am a tour director for Paris tours and have been since 1986. Britta sent me the Holiday Inn Express Canal de Villette and I requested rooms from them. Midway through our many emails, they raised my rates for singles and twins from 131euros and 141e to 141e and 151e. I sent them a deposit anyway, but now they are demanding more money. Britta is wonderful and so helpful and she can tell you what has been transpiring. I have sent her only a few of the many confusing emails I have received from both Sebastien and Claire. I need for them to either refund my deposit or honor their first offer.
In addition, I got many demands and threats from Sebastien, despite his being the one that was unethical.

Charged $383.00 for 5 days (8/22/2014-8/27/2014) Checked in hotel on 8/22/2014 at * Pm, Checked out of Hotel on 8/22/2014 at 10:30 Pm. Hotel was Dirty, Nasty, Moldy, Smelly and Sewage backed up in Pipes. Hotel Management refused to give us checked out sheet. Called Roswell Police Department. Had Officer make Manager Hand write a check out form. Manage stayed we would not be charged anything. Ramada Limited Charged our credit Card $383.00. Expedia refuses to refund out money.

I have used this company many times in the past. This company has gone to hell with customer service. I pre-paid for a rental car on expedia and when I got to Hertz, nothing about the ad was true. After standing there for one and a half hours, I canceled the rental and went two counters over to Enterprise and literally was headed for the car in five minutes. I requested a refund from expedia as I drove out of the airport which was July 23rd. Today is August 17 and I still have not gotten my refund. I have spent countless numbers of hours on hold waiting to speak to a manager. Today I was on the phone again for three hours, forty five minutes. The customer service is in the phillipines and they are not able to provide any customer service. All of these companies that have taken all of their jobs out of America need to stop doing business in America. I am done with this company and will be spreading the word. I want my damn money back NOW!!

This was not my frist time using expedia. All other times I have been completely satisfied. However, this time was a different story. My flight was changed with no notification from expedia. I called customer service to be on hold for 4 hours with no resolve. The website still reflects the same original flight information. I was told by the corporate office that it was my fault b/c I did not check the website for the flight updates only to check today and the flight information remains the same as my original flight. There is now a 12 hour difference in my arrival time to Rome and and a departing flight of 225am that was originally at 9. I would not have a problem had I been notified before, but every email with the subject flight change showed a change of 15 minutes, which is no issue. Their system needs a total overhaul.
