I shop your store, enjoy your coupons. But, I must say that your check out procedure is the most difficult that I encounter as a consumer. I never know how to approach the check out in an orderly way. Most of the time, customers are congregated at the Service Counter trying to decide who is next or whether they should be there at all. Then a regular check out line opens and everyone moves in that direction; again trying to decide who is next, etc. In addition, if I use a shopping cart, there is not enough room to maneuver through the line because there is another shopping cart next to mine in a space that is too small to accommodate two carts. I have shopped in several BBB's and it is always the same. Surely someone in your organization could solve this problem and make shopping there a much more enjoyable experience.

I returned a vinyl table cloth to the store which was bought thru the internet. The package arrived folded and rolled up into a 12- inch tubed size. This is a 52x70" vinyl table cloth. It was very very wrinkle and cheaply made. I returned it at the store in Pheasant Hill, Calif. to a rude saleslady. I told her it is cheaply made and not happy with it. She looked at the rolled up table cloth in the plastic tube bag and made a comment that I returned it not the way it was sent. I think we all know how things cannot be repacked the same way the second time. Besides the plastic wrap was cheap too.

My husband and I were browsing in the Hattisburg, Mississippi store today and had a very unpleasant experience. The first encounter was while we were looking at carpet there was sign that displayed 2 rugs (5'x7' and the other 20"x30") for $39.99. When inquiring about the smaller rug the sales associate who we encountered nearby was very rude and appeared annoyed when we asked about the missing rug. Although he said that they ran out of the smaller rugs he was not very helpful because I was going to purchase it but decided not to since he did not seem to want to resolve the problem as he was walking away before could we finish our inquiry. Second, we found another item and were standing in line behind a woman for approximately 5 minutes and then a sales associate brought over another person to the line of which we were standing and proceeded to ring up their order. While stunned we both said "we were standing here" and he said sarcastically, "the other sales associate will ring you up". At this time we left without making a purchase.

I have been a fan of Bed Bath and Beyond at different locations and never encountered such unprofessional service. I will no longer patronize or recommend your establishment to others. There is a quote by Sam Walton that says, EXCEED CUSTOMER'S EXPECTATION AND THEY WILL RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN.

It makes sense to me in a customer service environment. Shouldn't that be everybody's motto?

I would like to know what safety procedures your stores use to teach employees how to use "A" Frame ladders properly? Case in point, Store Number 1209, located in Wesley Chapel, FL. I was driving by the store at about 9:35PM and saw a female worker standing on the last wrung of what looked to be a 22' "A" Frame ladder with her other leg straddled over the ladder and one hand holding on to the top shelf stacking some type of box, VERY UNSAFE and I ought to call OSHA!!!! The type of ladder that should have been used is a "Warehouse Step type Ladder". Why would your store Managers allow such unsafe practices! AFERREE61@gmail.com

Why are your stores in kansas, missouri, and illinois still open on a very treacherous day to be driving? I feel sorry for the employess that have to go to work! Their safety should be a top priority! Shame on u!

I am writing to commend one of your employes in your store in Orland Pk. Il.I was visiting my daughter when I realized I could purchase a "bedspread" I thought was obsolete. This in itself made me very happy but the service I received from an employee,Andrea B,made my store visit memorable. She was efficient ,personable and actually enjoyed her job.I commend you for hiring people such as Andrea B and for making bedspreads still available to the public.
Please recognize this girl as a gifted employee.

I am offended by a recent advertising literature that was dated to expire 5/28/13. On page 8 you had a picture of a "family tree". If you look at it there is not a single father in the family tree. I am offended by this effort on your part to discount a man role in a real family. I will not be shopping at any of you stores again. Shame on each of you.

I AM A NEW RESIDENT IN SPARTANBURG SC. HAVING A NEW HOME, WE WENT SHOPPING AT THE LOCAL WESTGATE MALL, IN SPARTANBURG. WE SHOPPED ON 4 DIFFERENT VISITS AND ON ALL VISITS THERE WAS NO ONE AT ANY REGISTER TO CASH US OUT. WE LITERALLY HAD TO WALK AROUND THE STORE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO WOULD TAKE OUR MONEY! ON MY LAST VISIT TODAY I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER BECAUSE I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE STORE WAS SO POORLY MANAGED. HOWEVER DAN THE MANAGER WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO ME..I TOLD THE CASHIER I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO SPEAK WITH THE CORPORTE OFFICE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT NO ONE WORKS AT CHECKOUT UNLESS YOU SEARCH FOR SOMEONE IN THE STORE WHO WISHES TO MAKE A SALE. POOR MANAGEMENT FOLKS!

I went into one of your Las vegas Nevada store and read a sign that stated they were hiring. Now mind you That was six months ago. When I asked for the Manager I inquired if she was hiring and she said in two weeks I will know something. I have been three more times and still receive the same answer. I am not sure why her response is always the same and the sign is still there. What is the hiring procedure?
