My check tire pressure light has been on 5 times not to mention the first night it was purchased it had a flat and everytime I take it back to carmax on 290 the northwest freewy they keep saying it weather permitted but how is that when it has happened 5 times smh either I get another car or carmav can keep the piece of crud and its.supposebly a 2012 more like junk.

RE: Customer Satisfaction and Existing Mechanical Car Problems

Dear CarMax Customer Relations:

I visited CarMax several times before purchasing a 2012 Honda Accord on Saturday, May 23, 2015. My sales person, James Sims was very profession and knowledgeable throughout the sales process. There were some issues with the online financing calculations that I did prior to purchasing my car. James along with his Manager, Mr. Couch explained the CarMax online computer did not calculate taxes when I did the credit application online.

After purchasing the car and having it for one day, I noticed there were some unknown mechanical issues and damages. I contacted CarMax and advise James Sims on yesterday. Again, he was very professional and concerned about my issues and advise me to bring it in the service department today.

Further, I took my car to CarMax service department at 9 am when they open this morning and was told by Dan Ostenski that my car could not be inspected or looked at today. I asked for a manager and was told there were no managers working today. Dan was very direct with me and explained my car may have to be sent to the Honda Dealership to be repaired (cranking issue, front end shaking, sunroof issues and it may take a few days to repair the damage leather seat and he made me an appointment for Wednesday at 9am.

Further, I am very dissatisfied with the service department in Memphis.

I had a car loan with Carmax. Account # 9865992. I paid it off about six months ago. When I bought a new car from a different dealership, they could not find any credit for this loan. Why?

My grand daughter brought a vehicle in January 2014 through CarMax, Torrance CA, fortunately when purchasing the car we brought the extended warranty. In November 2014 she renewed the registration. This year due to the age of the car a smog check was required. It did not pass the smog check they said due to an illegal part. From the time of purchase until to-date this car has been in at least 12 times for major issues, either to CarMax or the Ford Dealership in Manhattan Beach, CA, there has been no other service performed on this vehicle by another party. CarMax needs to stand by there word and help this single mother of one with the issues with this car. My grand daughters name is Brooklean Davis.
